Job Order Contracting (JOC) can provide agencies with multiple benefits including speed, nimbleness, cost efficiency, and less administrative burden. Recently, there has been a significant increase in the use of JOCs because of these benefits. In this session, the presenter will use key takeaways and real life experiences from the JOC programs she has managed for the last five plus years to discuss JOC including how to establish a JOC program, common problems with running a JOC program, and the things that make a JOC successful.
