Topic: Insurance Requirements in Contracts (IRIC).
The objective of this training is to provide a refresh/highlight on the need and requirements for insurance in contracts. This training session will include a high-level overview of the most common types of insurance required for contracts, the need for those insurance, the recommended/appropriate limits, and the recommended language that public entities should be requiring in their contracts. The session will also cover how to check for insurance compliance after the contract has been executed.
